Austin Body Contouring joins you on the quest towards healthy living.  As such, we share this information to assist you in maintaining your results achieved through our LipoLaser treatments. At Austin Body Contouring we seek to provide our clients with useful information that will assist them on their journey towards becoming their best self.

Remember that 20% to 40% of your results, continue for up to 1 month after your last treatment.

During treatments, the fat cells release triglycerides, which are then broken down into 3 fatty acids and glycerol, and transported to the liver to be used as energy.

We recommend that you continue to follow a Healthy Lifestyle and Nutritional Plan to facilitate and utilize the released fatty acids as a source of energy and nutrients for the body. Doing so will ensure optimization of your program and may improve your results

Of great importance, remember to drink at least 2 liters of water daily. Water consumption contributes and facilitates the fat clearance metabolic pathways. Drinking enough water will not only reduce hunger but will increase metabolism and stimulate circulation.

DO the following:

Incorporate exercise into your daily lifestyle. We all know how important exercise is to your overall health. This will aid in burning excess calories and strengthening muscles.

Include lots of vegetables with each meal. Vegetables are rich in fibers, which fill you up with fewer calories. They also help keep the flow of sugar into your bloodstream slow so less insulin is released…insulin promotes the storage of body fat. Raw and steamed are best as they maintain the vitamins and nutrients.

NO white bread, pasta, sugar or rice. Use whole grain versions for greater nutritional value and to promote fat loss.

Consider replacing red meat with white meat. Turkey, chicken, and fish are good options as they are generally lower in fat.

Eat foods rich in calcium. Include calcium-rich vegetables such as broccoli, kale, brussel sprouts, and collard greens as well as low-fat yogurt and milk as research has shown they help reduce the amount of fat absorbed from food.

AVOID the following:

Do NOT Skip meals. The can slow down your metabolism which can affect the rate at which the fat releases from cells.

Do NOT eat processed meats. Ready-made meals contain lots of saturated fats, artificial ingredients, and salt.

Reduce your intake of fatty foods. This includes fast food, takeout pizza, burgers, chips, cheese, butter, and oil.

Reduce your intake of refined carbohydrates. This includes white bread, white pasta, rice, and sugar.  Read the labels on the food you’re looking to buy.

Avoid sugary snacks and desserts. They are very high in sugar which is converted to fat!

Avoid soda and sugary drinks. These drinks are all loaded with sugar and many with artificial ingredients. Fruit and other juices fall into this category as well.

Avoid alcohol. Alcohol is also very high in sugar….think fat conversion! Dry red wine is the best option since its the lowest in sugar of most alcoholic beverages.
